Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander
Which will you start with??
I would recomend starting with the Pokemon Squirtle. You can eaisly beat the GYM leaders Brock, Misty, Koga, Blaine, Giovanni. And as your Squirtle evolves into Blastoise its Defense will be at its max its power takes up for its lack of speed. And you will have no problem beating Koga with water moves and Lance if you teach Blastoise Ice-Beam. And most of Gary's Pokemon can be beaten with water and ice. It also can Hydro-Pump Mewtwo to get Mewtwo's HP down low then use Sleeppowder. Then just use Ultra-Balls.
